As artificial intelligence rapidly transforms the global economy, one organization is making sure Latinas aren’t just prepared for the future — they’re helping lead it.

From May 28 to 30, 2025, Latinas in Tech will host its 9th Annual Summit at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square. With more than 1,500 tech professionals, 80+ speakers, and three days of immersive programming, the event remains the largest of its kind focused on Latinas and their allies in technology.

"This year's Summit represents a more active approach to fostering connection and fueling growth," said Nikki Barua, Interim CEO at Latinas in Tech. "We're creating a space for activating potential through interactive workshops and meaningful community engagement between members, chapters, and companies. Every session and every conversation is designed to advance the industry while opening doors for emerging leaders across all levels."

The Summit’s programming will focus on four key areas: Tech Innovation, Financial Literacy, Professional Development, and Health Awareness. Topics that reflect the evolving demands of leadership in a fast-moving, AI-driven landscape.

Headline speakers include Diane Gonzalez, Vice President of Technology Finance Automation at Amazon, and Claudia Romo Edelman, founder of the We Are All Human Foundation. Panels and workshops will explore pressing topics such as generative AI, cybersecurity, wealth-building, and workplace mental health.

This year’s event arrives at a pivotal time: nearly 40% of global jobs are expected to be affected by AI. Women currently adopt AI tools at a rate 25% lower than men, highlighting a growing gap in digital fluency.

"Hispanics will account for 78% of net new workers in the U.S. between 2020 and 2030, with Latina women holding a labor force participation rate of 69%," Barua added. "What's at stake for professionals as AI transforms industries is unprecedented. We need to focus urgently on bridging the AI skills gap for women, particularly Latinas in tech."

The Summit also includes the LiT Awards, which celebrate Latina tech leaders and organizations making a measurable impact across the sector.

Since 2017, the Latinas in Tech Summit has served as a platform for connection, visibility, and advancement. Backed this year by leading sponsors including Intuit, Amazon, HPE, Block, Lilly, Pinterest, Capital One, and others, the 2025 event underscores the growing recognition of Latina leadership in the industry.

Latinas in Tech is a nonprofit organization representing over 44,000 members across 26 nationalities and seven countries. Its mission is to equip Latinas and their allies with the capabilities, connections, and confidence to thrive in a fast-changing world.

As companies navigate the challenges of AI and digital transformation, the Latinas in Tech Summit is a timely reminder that building the future of technology starts with investing in inclusive talent and creating opportunities for all to lead.
